All our Made without Gluten Whoopies are made using products that do not contain gluten. Even though we take the necessary steps to avoid cross-contamination, we are not a gluten-free bakery. The Whoopie Bakery Ltd cannot guarantee our products are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies.

We don't yet have a Whoopie range which is both vegan and made without gluten. We are working on this, but as Whoopies are a specific product, it isn't easy to retain their delicious taste, texture and dome shape whilst suiting certain requirements. Our bakery team have worked for many years to perfect the current Whoopie recipes and is determined to ensure that any product we launch meets the same high standards. We assure you we are working hard to replicate the delicious taste and texture in a Whoopie that is both Made without Gluten and vegan.

We continue to develop our range to include a range of dietary requirements, and this includes an ambition to develop a low sugar and low carb option. Our bakery team are working hard to expand our selection of products so that we can provide Whoopies for all the family!

You can select your preferred delivery date when placing your order, and we will then despatch Monday-Thursday, and despatch the day before your chosen delivery date, which will be Tuesday-Friday. All orders selected using Free Delivery will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24. It states clearly on the order page and in our Delivery Information that Royal Mail Tracked 24 AIMS for 24 hour delivery but is not GUARANTEED. Therefore, if also selecting a nominated date, please be aware that on the free service this is an ESTIMATED delivery date only. We will dispatch 24 prior to your estimated delivery date. Please consider this if ordering for a special occasion, and order a day earlier than needed in case of any delays with the courier service. We use Royal Mail Tracked 24 for the free delivery service due to its inclusivity for delivery to customers across the UK at the same price, and this, we believe, is the best service we can offer at the present time. But, it does come with the caveat of possible 48hr delivery. Using the Guaranteed service for an additional £3.99 means we will dispatch your order via the DPD next day service. This a more reliable next day service and is in fact the best UK-wide for next day delivery, but no courier service can ever be 100% guaranteed next day, so please bear this in mind when placing your order and choose delivery dates/services that will enable us to deliver you the best possible service to meet your needs. With regards to the freshness of the products if delivered the day after your preferred delivery date, providing you store them as per our instructions on the information leaflet in your box, the Whoopies will stay squidgy for several days after arrival. To keep them fresher for even longer, you can also freeze them when they arrive. Defrost them in 20 seconds in the microwave or for a couple of hours at room temperature.

We prepare your Whoopies fresh each week. Our bakery team work Monday-Friday and our events team work at various markets across the weekend, so at the moment we have to work this way. As we grow, we hope to be able to offer a Next Day delivery service any day of the week.

Yes, we do! We work with the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service for these areas because it is more reliably a 24hr service than DPD, which only offers 48 hour delivery even on their guaranteed next day service. This means we can deliver to the whole of the UK at no extra cost for those in more remote or harder-to-reach areas. The delivery process on this service does involve conveyor belts so we have had to add extra packaging to protect the Whoopies. But the upside is that all our fellow citizens can enjoy a Whoopie!

Assuming you've entered the correct telephone and/or email at checkout, you will receive direct communication from the courier. This communication will include an expected delivery date and delivery window as well as a link to change your delivery options. For Royal Mail, this is a window of several hours, for DPD it is a one-hour window. Royal Mail have assured us if they fail to deliver your parcel, leave your parcel with a neighbour, or in your specified safe place, they will leave a calling card for you. As standard procedure, if Royal Mail do not receive alternative delivery instructions and are unable to deliver, they will attempt re-delivery the next day. Please be aware we cannot be held responsible for parcels that are not delivered where this is because the information entered at checkout is incorrect, the recipient is not at home, or if there is a delay that is not at our fault. We also cannot be held responsible for Whoopies that get damaged after being left in inappropriate conditions such as outdoors or in warm or wet environments.

Your Whoopies will stay soft and squidgy for 2-3 days from delivery, assuming you are in to receive them when the courier attempts first delivery. You can freeze your Whoopies to keep them for longer. To defrost, leave your Whoopies at room temperature for around 2 hours or microwave one Whoopie at a time for 15-25 seconds on full power (all microwaves vary). Store your Whoopies in a cool, dry place.

The Whoopie Bakery Ltd recognises the seriousness of food allergies, and we recommend that you contact us prior to ordering and consuming our products if you have a food allergy. If your allergy is of a serious nature, we recommend that you do not consume our products. Unfortunately, as a new business we don't yet have the budget for the tests that are required to provide this information. This is in our medium term plan. Until then, the best comparison we have found might be a slice of carrot cake due to it's cream cheese filling which is similar to handmade White Chocolate Cheesecake frosting.

All Whoopies and Whoopie selection boxes will arrive labelled. All Whoopies are individually decorated and should closely match the image on their product page. Please be aware that from time to time we do have to change our decorations due to supply chain issues, so these may occasionally vary from what is pictured. The image you see is a representation of the product you will receive. All vegan and Made without Gluten Whoopies will be labelled accordingly. If this is not stated on the box and the individual Whoopie, it is a classic Whoopie, and we recommend you do not consume them if you require vegan or Made without Gluten..

All of our Whoopies are individually handmade. Sometimes we have to change our decorations due to supply chain issues, so these may occasionally vary from what is pictured. The image you see is a representation of the product you will receive.

We ran several trials for the courier process, and the packaging combo we currently use is the most consistently reliable way of ensuring the Whoopies arrive in tip-top condition every time. We are working on reducing the amount and improving the sustainability of the packaging. Being as sustainable as possible is extremely important to us. For a small business, getting this spot-on right from the start is difficult because costs and minimum order quantities can be prohibitive. The most important thing for us to launch and be viable was to ensure our Whoopies arrived in perfect condition. Now, as we grow, we can start to evolve our packaging in line with our values and budget. We are researching options and will continue to develop this as we grow. The cardboard elements of the packaging are all recyclable and the lids on the Whoopies with more delicate toppings are compostable, so please do consider this when disposing of the packaging. We are also working to eliminate single-use plastics from the process.

You can store your Whoopies for 2-3 days in a cool, dark place like a cupboard, and can keep them in their original packaging.

You can also freeze your Whoopies for up to one month, defrosting in around 2 hours at room temperature, or in the microwave in 20-5 seconds (all microwaves vary)
